Rancho Cucamonga's premiere escape room is looking to hire a few friendly faces to moderate and host our games.

## Game Host

As a Game Host, your main responsibilities will be to welcome guests, explain the rules of the game, provide hints, monitor players as they search for clues and solutions, and reset the room for the next game. You may also be responsible for performing minor repairs to props if they are damaged, which will be taught during training. You will be delivering exceptional experiences to our guests by hosting and guiding them through immersive escape room games.

## What is an escape room?
An escape room is a real-life adventure in which players are "locked" in a room. In a race against the clock, players must work together, find clues, and solve puzzles, to _escape_ the room!

At Unity Escape Rooms, we bring together engaging storytelling, immersive themes, and unique challenges to create an unforgettable experience.

## Qualifications

### Requirements

- Good with people and can maintain composure and professionalism under stress
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups from 4 to 12 people
- Must have reliable transportation
- Can use basic power- and hand-tools (drill, screwdriver, etc)
- Can lift objects up to 25lbs
- Proficiency using computers (PCs) and tablets (iPads)

### Bonus Points

- Energetic / Enthusiastic / Passionate
- Performance / artistic background (we are an entertainment business)
- Bonus points for knowledge of escape room games, public speaking experience, artistic abilities
- Great at fixing and maintaining things - e.g. a "handyman"
- Electrical experience
- A love for puzzles and problem-solving
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or related fields

## Responsibilities

- Welcoming guests and taking payment when needed
- Monitor and guide guests through their escape room experience making their experience enjoyable
- Maintain the integrity of the rooms by making sure locks and puzzles are functioning
- Resetting rooms in a timely manner between guests
- Keeping the office and rooms in a clean and presentable state
